Stefan is a Director with AV&Co. in our San Francisco office. Stefan primarily advises clients in strategy, marketing, sales and financial functions across technology, telecom and internet infrastructure firms. His client engagements focus on growth strategies, investment due diligence, performance optimization, go-to-market planning and technology decisions.
With an objective of assisting clients in long term and immediate profit maximization, Stefan’s recent engagements include cloud services go-to-market planning for a Fortune 500 technology firm, wireless spectrum strategy for a European operator, LTE business case and deployment planning, diligence on an online advertising targeting firm, and a Chinese market entry strategy. Additionally, Stefan’s projects focus on increasing the value of existing operations, particularly around customer retention and sales channel optimization. Stefan’s significant M&A experience includes both conducting due diligence for investors as well as developing integration plans for corporate clients.
Stefan frequently authors articles and serves as an ongoing media source for publications including The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, Light Reading, Fierce Markets and Mass High Tech. Additionally, he speaks at industry conferences held by industry associations such as the International Consumer Electronic Show, Distributed Computing Industry Association, Light Reading Carrier Cloud Forum, Content Delivery Summit, and COMPTEL.
Prior to joining AV&Co. in 2004, Stefan worked with The Brattle Group, an economic consulting firm. Stefan holds a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Engineering from M.I.T.
