Challenge: A well-known web publisher wanted to completely re-think its corporate strategy, while also engaging a broad set of employees from across the company in the strategy development process.
Solution: AV&Co. worked with the client to develop a combined strategy development and change management framework for structuring the overall project approach. We assisted in prioritizing initiatives, developing work plans, specifying team roles and assignments, and identifying appropriate tools and frameworks for teams to use in developing product strategies.
Results: At the conclusion of the initial phase of this project, teams were mobilized to address six high-priority initiatives that together would drive the company’s strategy. Team members had begun to think beyond their individual silos, and were using customer needs analysis, competitive evaluation, and economic analysis to identify strategic growth opportunities for the company.
